Paramore to mount spring concert tour

Paramore, the multimillion-selling rock group, is hitting the road for a eries of gigs in spring that would see them perform in comparitively smaller venues instead of amphitheaters or arenas tha the band generally play at.

The seventeen-city tour called Paramore: Writing the Future is made to let the group as well as its fans to move in comparatively more cozy venues. The concert tour starts on 21st April, in Georgia and it would end in Oregon on 25th May. It would include a 22nd May show at the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre at SDSU.

Tickets for the event will go on sale for Paramore fan club members at 9 am at 26th January and tickets for general peple will hit the stands on 30th January at 10 am. at Ticketmaster and Live Nation ticket outlets.

In a Facebook message, which is also posted on their official website the band said: "It feels right to bring the 'Self-Titled' (album) era to a close.” They added that they have had a very personal as well as hugely triumphant journey with this one. What would not feel right is saying goodbye to this time in the band's career and not celebrating it with their fans in some special way. Therefore, they have decided to do one last little run with it.

The statement added: "Another way we want to celebrate our journey thus far, is to bring out a band who helped us in our most humble, playing 500 beats faster than we should, terrible hair, beginning.” They might have never gained any traction on the path had they not let them on their tour almost exactly ten years ago. Therefore, if you are coming to one of these shows make sure to get there early for Copeland.
